Dell Renegade- SOLD OUT

"TINMAN Dell has finally got around to releasing the XPS 600 Renegade gaming PC which hit the shops for nearly $10,000 green backs and has disappeared as fast as it arrived, as we noticed last week.
Dell only released a few of the expensive beasts and according to Gear, it has already sold them all."

didn't see that one comming, ohh wait

yes... I did , How'd I know some moron with their trust fund from daddy would blow it on such a worthless p.o.s.

Some people have a lot to spend. I actually didn't see that one coming. Guess I forget there's people out with there with a lot of money to burn.

Who would possibly use Quad SLI?? And would 2 7900GTX's beat that anyways? Price vs Perforomance anyways.

If Dell only made a few then why wouldn't they sell out?

I bet businesses bought them.

two 7900GTX's wouldn't beat them out, but they would be cooler by a ****load. Quad SLI is more or less useless though because it'd be so rediculously CPU bottlenecked. I wonder how gen 1 SLi physics will work on them though... will it have two cards for physics and two cards for grpahics, or 1 and three?

*edit* acording to the renegade site, they are 7900's in quad SLi. But the intel SLi chipset sucks, which makes it even more pointless. Although a over 4GHz factory OC is a nice touch.... Itel should just sell them that way.

take a joke man......... im so ****ed off of everyone saying "its so expencive" and "you could build one for less" and then people say "oh no, what if your... a univercity!"

reality check, no one here is going to buy one, we dont need everyone to say "im not gona get one" or "who would buy that?" its been said, again, again, again and AGAIN.

the sold out. great, so they ether got a lot of buyers or did not make many, maybe they only made two and the were purchessed so they are sold out? you never know

p.s. if you didnt quite get that, it was suposed to be a horrible comparison, i doubt more then 40 people in the world would really be able to build that car by themselves.

I think comparing this Dell Quad SLI to a Lotus Elise is more on the money.

$40,000 for a 4 banger.
$10,000 for a Dell.

and wtf is that suposed to mean? i dont know how much $1 is worth? yes yes i do, iv been to england, iv seen how little weight it carries.

wait, are you trying to say the renagade is a good deal and we should buy them?

$600 video card can be a good deal, if the MSRP is $1100 and everywhere is selling it for that. that was a totaly ignorent coment.

what you ment to say was they think $600 for a video card is "normal" or "a fine amount to spend"

i expected them to sell out. we all know that there are people out there everyday who spend large amounts on money that most wouldn't. and most of us say "if that was me, i wouldn't waste my money". to some 10 stacks is small potatoes and the interest from there accounts will yield that back in no time. if i had the loot to spend like that on a computer...i would. of course i'd build one that far supersedes the renegade, but still i'd spend 10 stacks on one. and you're right about people not knowing the value of a dollar. but trust that everyone that bought one can afford one so they seem to make more sense to me than the man living pay check to pay check and going to the strip club when the bills haven't been paid yet.

thank you! if its not computers its hookers, redsox tickets or car parts. yes, its a lot of money, but if they have it, who cares? Are you trying to pass judgement on their purchesses? you know nothing about them at all. its easy to sit back from behind a keyboard and say "your an idiot, your an idiot" and "Why if i had that much money" and "value of a dollar"... bla bla bla, words words words.
if you use the "if i had that much money" you opinion is automaticly bias against them. I would imagine expencive stuff looks a lot less expencive when your income is $4million a year.
and lastly, if we dont know the value of a dollar, oh sir, please, what IS the value of a dollar? oh, and btw, in the US!

Have you never heard that phrase before? The true value of a dollar? WTF?!

If you understand what it takes to bring in some amount of money then maybe you wouldn't be so quick to blow it on useless junk.

Let's say you make $6 and hour and buy a $600 video card. That's over 100 hours of work (after taxes) for a piece of computer hardware.

If your parents just give you money all willy nilly then you won't learn the true value. You'll run into a lot of financial problems in the future.
