PD isn't really into the OC. But, he does OC his video card with software, but he dosen't want to mess with the CPU. His parts his choice.

This may be true, but he wants the hardware/setup rated. Even if he scored 1 point in 06 all he wants is the setup/hardware rated.

Oh by the way

Pig Death's computer rating

On a scale of 1 too 100, 100 being the best, and of course 1 being the worst. I would rate him about somewhere on that scale, lets see, losing points for the Raid0 without Raid 1 withit, sli mobo but no sli setup?
audigy instead of a Xifi, lose some points for that also, then there is the 2-3-2-5 ram instead of 2-2-2-5, losing nanoseconds there. Air cooled instead of liquid??? Loss of more points there. Cpu is just OK. Do like the CRT for gaming better than a lcd.
I'll give it an 82, cause it;s a good tune to dance to. Good luck and give us some benchmarks

I mean seriously, you want an honest opinion? Software doesnt make a computer nice. As a matter of fact if you were judging by all the software and new games I own, I'd have a 100 all day long

Throw up some benchmarks or continue to gt laughed at by the tons of people who have read this thread and not responded

All he wanted was the setup rated. The parts. You know it benchmarks high, look @ the specs. Real world performence is better then a bunch of benchies. So a bunch of numbers means if a rig is good? Sure they are fun 2 do, and show your rigs stuff, but you are really going 2 sit and laugh about it? He never said he wanted 2 have benchies rated, just the hardware. Games thrown in for kicks, and U attack that bluntly. the X18OOXT still needs 2 be installed. So cant really bench. But thats not what he wanted.

There are so many different combinations of parts that can be combined to make a system that it is almost impossible to "rate" your friends. That's why we use benchies, because no matter what hardware you have, it's the same benchmark, so you can compare the power of the systems equally. Also, benchmarks arent opinionated like humans, so they are more useful in aquiring pleasing results and satisfaction. I honestly dont see why your friend should care, unless he doesnt think he made good purchasing decisions.

Good points. We will post again once the final touches are made w/ benchies. Good use of words, that made much more sense and nicer sounding to me then the previous posts.

I'd rate it a 83%, because no dual core and no X1900, and CRT, no LCD

But, you really got to ask yourself....is it fast enough? hell yea, so I'd say 100% suitable for gaming....props

But I'd recommend a good LCD for his next upgrade....

The x1800xt and the X-Navigator case are definitely not my style, and that Razor is too low profile for my big mits, but the rest is pretty sweet. I'm assuming this is a "fun" thread, so I'll play along with the fun (why poop on the parade?!?!) - and give it a solid 87%. Most ppl would be pretty happy with this rig. Nice game pile, too. Looks like a sprinkling of what I have on my desk.

i think you should consider either an external hard drive or a third because if your raid craps out you're going to lose 500gb.

is the si-120 better than the xp-120? just wondering.

nice ram; they don't make 2-2-2-5 2gb kits AFAIK

while there is nothing wrong with the audigy 2 zs plat pro (i have one too) you can't turn on the silly propretary features of stuff that wants to see x-fi hardware.

pretty good all around.
