Water vapor behind my lens !

Hey guyz once in a lifetime you end up doing something dumb and today that happened.

I was taking a few pictures when I kept seeing marks coming out. Turned out the lens was dirty and so i decided to clean it. I used my mouth to blow on it then whipe it clean with a soft cloth when I started seeing the vapour wont come off and it went into the back of the lens inside...

I thought it was a sealed unit but nope.

I have an Canon A620. Plz someone advise what steps should I take.

Additional comment:
My lens has cleared and it seems to take pictures clearly. But if i look at the lens itself its filled with vapor spots.

if it's still under warranty, i'd RMA it, it shouldn't do that, there is a crack in the seal somewhere on that camera around the lense.

It will eventually dry up (you can seal it in a bag of silica gel beads)- I think canon is going to charge you to fix that.

You should never use water to clean a lense.

I don't think he used water, I think the humidity, for lavk of a better term, from him exhaling onto it caused it to fog up.

The silica bead thing should work.

I read it wrong. Canon should fix that.

They should definitely fix that, the lens should be sealed from moisture. Though I own two late 70's Canons and the lenses on those are sealed... perhaps they changed something in the past 30 years

Hey guyz it made small waterdrop marks on the lens on the inside I doubt anything will get that off without whiping it off. Yea i only exhaled on it like when u clean ur glasses. Then I blew hard to get all the dust off the sides and then I could see that the lens started to fog up inside.

I bought it off Ebay and he has used it for two months so there should be a warranty on it. Hopefully

Yeah, just call up Canon, they are pretty easy to deal with. I'm sure it's a seal that will need to be replaced, otherwise you will continue to run into this problem every time you take it from a cool to hot place.
