What's your PSU?
What's your cooling?
Is the GTO not running all the games you are currently playing as well as you want them to?

I used to upgrade my video card everytime something better came out... then I realised I don't even often like the new games that came out. So I would hold off upgrading your GPU until you really think it's worth it for you.

However, a good PSU can be used over and over and over...

My PSU is an ENERMAX Noisetaker 420w... I think it was recommended to me in the PSU section.

I have stock cooling on everything.

And the GTO2 is running everything for me fine... I just figured Id wait on another card until DX10 came out if anyone was going to suggest getting a new card.

Could get a new heatsink, Tuniq Tower, Scythe or maybe something from Thermalright to let you push that X2 3800 a bit more.

Maybe a new case... I recently picked up an Antec Nine Hundred and it's amazing to me . I got thought because I couldn't decide what to upgrade.

You're only getting 2.2 from your +3800? Ouch!

I'd suggest getting a nice PSU - an OCZ or Antec - anything over 550 W.

Its a good upgrade should you decide to do a new build.

Also - what MB do you have? Maybe dropping some coin into a used DFI board could help your overclock.

Tuniq Towers are nice FYI. Again - you could take this to your next rig also.

7950 GT's are available for $200 now aswell - hopefully I've give you some good ideas.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, the room that my computer is in has a wood stove in it. It keeps the air temps at about 90*F - (sometimes)110*F in here constantly.

I might be wrong, but I dont think he is overclocking. If so, yes thats a terrible overclock.

And the 7950gt's are very nice!

Isn't clock on a X3800 only 2ghz?

So yeah - thats a bad OC - but as you can see, he's fighting cooling issues
