Its like 1C better than the GT, as it does have different internals. I would still go with the Fuzion or GT over it. Probably the GT, as its the cheapest. Unless the loop is restrictive, in which case the Fuzion will work better.

Pleased to be joining your discussion, like the GTX look, niiice.
Personally I quite like the GT, and I like the look of the new top cover in the article. What would be best is if us GT owners could get just the top plate to make our GT's into GTX's on the cheap, will Swiftech oblige? I'm not holding my breath... Can't call the difference between fuzion or GT, I'd say personal preference! |

No matter what they say, two plating or whatever, the top is made of aluminum and that is a big NO in my list.
Why risk the additional chance of galvanic corrosion when you can get a normal apogee GT for less? |

Great shout, didn't notice that! Considering the corrosion worries I've been having lately that little nugget of fact puts me right off...

have any of you guys actually scrolled down?
the base is made of copper and the top cover plate is protected with Zinc Cobalt for "lifetime protection against corrosion

Actually performs only .5C better or less than 1 C according to charts.
I'm surprised it performs better on single die since the inlet is further from the center. Wished robotech did more more reviews on WBs. I can't trust swiftechs own data any longer. First that tec block has horrible graph . Two, suspicious since they had storm vs apogee and setup 100^2 mm die to twist results for their favor. |

I just think the marginal drop in temp does not justify even the smallest increase in the risk of galvanic corrosion. Still remember those horror stories about those old swiftech blocks made of anodized aluminum? Swiftech claimed the anodized would prevent galvanic corrosion too, but it did manage to eat though a few people's blocks. To be fair though, not allowing any aluminum in my loop is only my personal preference. Plenty of people are running just fine with them. |
