A printer and Scanner Question
I have a HP All in One Photosmart Printer C6280 and a Neat Receipts Scanner for my documents. I am in the Navy active duty and hate moving my file cabinet full of important documents all over the world every three years. Can both of these work on the same computer? Plugged in and on. I have heard that 2 scanners cannot be installed on a computer at the same time. Is that True? Thank you Chris Last edited by nugent73 : 11-05-2009 at 11:15 AM. Reason: Type o |

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...&product=58389 According to the article, it's because of the limitations in the USB driver Usbscan.sys. Since that's the case, it is possible to install one of the scanners using the parallel port instead? |

The only way to know is to try it, The actual link refers to xp and hp scanners and it also refers to both scanning at the same time, things may have changed since then. MarkOne running two scanners from usb, even though they are not hp's.

What if i was to connect the HP Printer via the CAT 5 and my wired network would then the Neat Receipts scanner be ok?
Would I also be able to use the hp scanner via the cat 5 network connect? Last edited by nugent73 : 11-06-2009 at 10:52 PM. Reason: Spelling |
