Using a VGA output as an input?

I'm gonna guess this may not be possible but worth a try..
Anyway what it is ive got my pc originaly came with an intel chipset and i upgraded to the HD4890 and now i use the HD4890 for my monitor and i have a free VGA output coming from the chipset i wanna hook up my xbox 360 through that anyway possible to use it as an input? i got the VGA cable for my xbox btw.

I am pretty sure No, because the Computer would not know what to do with console...You need to hook the VGA(xbox) to the VGA connector on the monitor to get some kind of result. Plus you need to figure out the audio part of that because isnt the xbox cords Composite?(white and red)?

Yeah it is easy to set up the Xbox 360 with my setup and i was using it on this monitor cause the tv in the room is crap haha and the audio is no problem the speakers im using work fine with it thanks anyway will have to buy another monitor/TV.

what kind of inputs does the monitor have? most have DVI and VGA so you could plug in the xbox when not using the computer (unplug the DVI of course)
