Why wait? They need the money. They won't have to drop the prices for 5 or 6 months and by then some buyers on the verge may have gone crazy and forked over the $600 buckazoids. They will have the top end market exclusively to themselves and bragging rights to help them steal marketshare.

they are cashing in on them too, every stinkin one is spoken for or gone, from every manufacturer, MAYBE more next week.... a lot of them are ~$25 over suggested retail of $599

This is just unbelievable... I'm glad I figured out to not fall into the hype this round. My 4870 handles everything currently out plenty fine
