I need a new mouse

I believe my mouse is finally telling me to get a new one. My previous mouse was the Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Mouse.

Whats wrong with it? I don't really know. It locks up sometimes, as in cursor becomes unresponsive and if I was pressing a button at the time it acts like it is still being held.

Now the CFGM was a full hand mouse. My palm rested on it and each finger had a place to sit. I would really like to get a mouse that has buttons for each finger except pinky. Or something that my hole hand can rest on because I don't really like having my ring finger hanging off.

I would like to keep all options under $50. If it's probably $10 over and it looks good I might be interested.

So there are some of the options that I liked when I was looking on Newegg. I think I actually looked through every companies offerings on Newegg .

Gigabyte GM-M8000
steelseries Ikari
Wolfking Trooper
Microsoft Sidewinder X5
Razer Deathadder

So far I like the look of the Ikari.

This is what I've been using for like ~2 years just an FYI.

I liked my razer copperhead, it had a higher dpi than the razer you're looking at. I'm sure you can find one pretty cheap since it is an older model.

Not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a mouse that supports most of my hand. I don't want to have to "hold" the mouse. I want to be able to rest my hand on it.

Practically all of Razer's mouses do NOT meet this requirement.

I found a mouse that I would love just by looking at it, but it's not available in the US. It's called the Smog from Ozone Gaming.

Really should look into a G5/G500 mouse. Sound like exactly what you are looking for and well worth the price.

My dad has a G500, not what I'm looking for.

I found a mouse called the Smog from a company called Ozone Gaming, review on Guru3D, but the only problem is their products are only available in EU.

I tried using the contact page on their website, but it seems like they don't have the site updated correctly with any network changes that they have done recently. It says that it can't find the mailserver on SMTP port 25.

Here is what the mouse looks like, it comes with two interchangeable grips.

I got the mouse for like $40 and it lasted me about two to three years.

Every mouse you linked looks similar to the logitech G500(full hand), besides the death adder, which is an even smaller mouse.

No offense, I don't see how you can say the G500 is anything like the Ikari or the Sidewinder. It is probably close to the Trooper, which again, I am probably not going to get.

The G500 has NO place for my ring finger to rest.

It hangs off the side. My dad has one and I don't like it.

+1 for the death adder. Ive been using mine for 2 years flawlessly. Sure it doesnt have a on the fly dpi change button, but that can be programmed via the software...

I got mine for $20 shipped on a deal on newegg, and what do you know, the new Razer mice are designed with the same shell as the death adder...

You guys must have small hands, I haven't used a mouse yet that accomodates more than two fingers comfortably.

I have been using the MX518 mouse for the past 3 years and I can vouch that it is an excellent, durable mouse (not that I like throw it around the room or anything, it's just I have never had a problem with it so far).
