Is System supose to take up 82 000k Mem usage?

what OS do you have?
ok lemme see, I have XP, and my "System" process uses 236K memory, and 28K VM... 82500 is way too much, but then again the running windows system itself uses a lot more ram than that, however this will not be shown in the task manager... usually according to this source: http://apcmag.com/forum.htm?g=posts&t=1057 avg is causing it, maybe you could look into that? (uninstall it and see if that helps) but that is a strange symptom tbh. |

im running windows xp pro 32bit
well i uninstalled avg and yes it stop my system from running around 80, 000k and now is back to 260k. i started to use COMODO. thanks for that link Last edited by badatovrclck : 11-24-2009 at 01:32 AM. |
