Koolance uses really cheap parts IMO and uses a good case to try and get you to buy it.

looks good on paper, but in reality the copper waterblocks from dtek, swiftech and dangerden outperforms it

You asked us what we think about blocks.
I think it's pretty much agreed that there is much better out there, and go and argue that the koolance block is good.
If you wanted confirmation of how good the koolance block is, you're not getting it here.
It's agreed here that the dtek, swifty, and maze3 are tried and true blocks.
We gave you advice, do what you want to do.

im just lookin to cool off a peltier better than my stock hsf is doin and whated to know if there was that big of difference in performance. When ppl spend money they dont do it on opinions alone, they want actual comparisons and facts so u cant blame me for wanting those also. im not demanding facts just hopin that someone can point me in that direction. I appreciate all ur help that u guy have been given me
as for u u4ikstilz u dont have to be such an ******* with ur responces i mearly stated a counterpoint and appologized for it take a lesson from shoomer and the others before u cus theyve got kickass ratings for a reason

sry = sorry
its right after i made my point
btw my question is if the heat transition is that extreme to where i should go with danger den cus i agree with yall that danger would be better but its more convienent for me to go with the koolance so i was wonderin performance difference was extreme enough to really go out of my way to get the better brand

Ok, are you buying a koolance case? If not, I don't see why it would going out of the way.
What's your situation? Do you have anything? Plans?
I don't really think the koolance cases are that great.
They're more for ppl that just want something mediocre and not extremely loud.
The blocks that are popular are already listed in the thread. The Procore seems to out perform the BIX2 (one rad, not the 2), aka yesterday's top dog. And then there's always a plain old heatercore from autoparts stores.
As far as pumps, I have an eheim1250 which I think is a bit much for just a cpu. The hydors, via aquas, swiftechs, and eheims seem to be popular.
Then the decision of res or no res. It's been said that closed loop gets better temps, I like having a res myself.

btw, how is the koolance more convenient?

i dont think u can cool a peltier with a koolance block since it doesnt have any extra mounting stuff for a peltier, unless ur gonna mod it yourself. for a pelt setup i would go with the swiftech blocks

Ive seen the Swiftech MCW5000A used in a koolance system, and all the top fans changed out, it really helped the system perform well.
