Talking DDR520!

Just did some more testing with this OCZ Gold PC3700 stuff. For some reason, the board is alive (ASUS P4C800 Deluxe). It just all of the sudden works. Anyway, last time I was playing with the board I had installed the v-mods. I decided to re-test out this OCZ Gold PC3700 cause I had a feeling it had more in it.

How about 520 at 2-3-3-7 stable through 2k1, 2k3, and sandra? The card is at stock, no tweaks, just straight through. CPU is at 3.384. The memory goes up to 530 but not stable enough for 3D. Voltage used was 3.2V. I went all the way up to 3.33V but no luck. Also, don't mind the sandra scores, the FSB and CPU speed are low, which greatly affects the scores. I'll do some super cooling and run into the 300's and see what happens.

Thanks guys. I'm working on figuring out how high the CPU and video card will go now. The CPU, I'm estimating, will do around 4.2 and the VC I have no clue. Even if the CPU doesn't quite make it the memory should make up for a decent amount.

Now I just have to pray this card is half decent, which I already think it probably sucks.

I just busted out the Freezer and put the MCW462-UT on the 5900 Ultra. I hate this card already... Overclocking wise, it has to be the worst card of all time. I was checking the voltages and they seem a little low. Maybe a poorly designed card or maybe its just mine.

Just made the front page with an air-cooled CPU. I will play with the card more tomorrow, maybe. Gotta update my build of 2k3 too.
