Bios updated?
Can you get temp from another application? Make sure all unlockers are turned off? Last edited by Mr.Scott : 07-13-2012 at 07:22 AM. |

lol well all it said last night was N/A it shows the temp after being shut-down all night?
But should my north-bridge be hot enough to burn your finger at all stock settings tho? and yes it worked with the crappy asrock tuner program which keeps showing it increases my cpu multiplier from x13 to x16 at random intervals lol i think i liked asus's mobo tools better Additional Comment: lol even umder bios it says i can change the cpu multiplier from x13 to max x15.5. thought i would try to no avail. and should my northbridge be set at 2ghz stock seems kinda high to me Additional Comment: alright figured out the multiplier part its a glitch with amd turbo core on it changes the multi to x15.5 3.1ghz. but my north bridge heatsink is still getting hot as hell any suggestions on that part? Additional Comment: oh and no the bios isnt updated but the only update is a fix for windows 8 anyway so not really much point to update yet Last edited by mike1984 : 07-14-2012 at 01:11 AM. NB frequency should be 2000MHz at stock. No problem there. You can easily run that up to at least 2600MHz. The heat is a problem. It shouldn't be that hot. Take the NB voltage off auto and set it manually. 1.1-1.2v will be fine. If that doesn't do anything to quell the heat you may have to re-TIM it and/or put a fan on it.
Temp not showing up in the bios is interesting, as it shows up in other applications. They all read the same sensor.

My old Evga mobo NB used to burn my fingers. You can buy an 40mm fan or something and cable tie it to the NB.

well my northbridge is alrght now hung a 120mm fan from my radiator to cool it off. the pc crashing part was due to the bios i had wasnt stable with the 6core am3 cpu. so i downgraded to beta bios version 1.52 and it works nice. still havent overclocked it yet tho.
Before i forget to ask wth is AuxTin sensor for on cpuid hardware moniter! Now the temps arent right "102c-186c" unless i run intelburntest then it drops to "32c-45c" just odd and want to know what the sensor is supposed to be for ![]() Additional Comment: lol thought it was fixed but playing skyrim for 4hrs and my screen fills with green squares and locks up then my display goes out then comes back on and starts working normal again wtf its irritating lol Last edited by mike1984 : 07-19-2012 at 06:50 PM.
