Yes, but compute performance on those two cards are absolute crap compared to Titan. That seems to be what Titan is all about (compute performance).

![]() eek, that's really bad news! I was hoping not to have my 580 that long... I'm hoping these will got in the high $600 range in a few months, but I have a feeling that won't happen. Maybe they will be like the 690 or the intel extremes that are always stuck at the $1k mark no matter what until the next big item comes along. |

One thing is for sure, as long as they are sold out everywhere and people are pay 1500 on ebay for them they can ask whatever they want for them

Considering the fact that it came out 14 months after the 7900 series and is only 20-30% faster at 2.5x the cost, its quite unimpressive. Additionally, I don't think that nVidia "chose" not to release it, but rather could not do it at acceptable yields and profit margins for the desktop market at the time.
