Using an iPad to manage music on an external HDD
I have a stereo system set up, and am looking to rip a load of CD's onto an eternal had drive. Once the music is on a HDD is there a way to plug into an iPad and play the music through the iPad, and via a cable, through the stereo? Essentially, use a wired connection directly from an external, powered HDD to the iPad where I can play music through the iPad, but not actually have the files on the iPad. Any thoughts? apps that make this possible? |

Just use one of the many media streaming apps to stream it from your PC? I use AirPlayIt.
