I'm still trying to figure out the temp sensor situation with this thing. I tried core temp and it was reporting really low temps that i know are not right.
My basement is about 18c, I went by the asus software and the CPU got to about 54 under load.

I went back to stock so I can find the lowest voltage I can run the cpu at which right now it's set at 1.3 in the bios. I ran prime 95 all night to test it and its fine so far. I'm going to find the lowest then start benchmarking at stock and work my way back up so I can see how it scales with clock speed.

Was seeing how low I could get voltage wise at stock clocks. This was it:

Try HW monitor. I love the program!

sorry for lack of updates been playing with voltages seeing whats stable at what clocks. Also got my para cord today so I can finish the PSU. Now I am just waiting on some terminals, connectors, crimpers to finish some of the modular cables that I'm going to have to tear apart to sleeve.

Well I have been benchmarking, and now i remember why I don't do it as much anymore, cause its boring as hell. I ran the same ones from 4ghz up to 4.8ghz
and really the only one that saw any improvement from the clockspeed increase was cinebench.
I did manage to get a screenshot of 5ghz but I hit the what I felt safe going to voltage limit of 1.55v and that wouldn't stablize the cores during prime95.
If you guys want I can post the results for each step but they are pretty repetitive.
I'm going to clock back down to 4.6ghz and run it there. That seemed the best spot. 4.8+ needed a good jump in voltage to be stable.
