Extract audio from video and then remove audio

For a project I am working on I need to: first extract the sound of the video, and then remove the audio from the video. I have found those online converters that seem to work fine for my needs:

First to extract the audio from the video I use this:

Then to remove the audio from the video I use this:

The problem is that I have a video file that is 4GB+ and the file size limit on those sites is 500MB max. Do you have any recommendation on how to remove the audio from that big video file with a free program (for Mac)?

Compressing the video size is a alternative way. But for free program, I use ffpeg. https://www.ffmpeg.org/
It provides for free enrich features and can import most all kinds of video/audio formats. Yet the output file formats are limited.
I happen to find this program that can extract auido from DVD : http://www.videoconverterfactory.com...io-ripper.html
