PCIe x1 soundcard
So I need a PCIe x1 soundcard, and the only features I need are: 1. Supports 5.1 2. The software lets you control how loud each set of speakers are (my rear speakers are further away, thus, need them louder than the front). I took a look at some of the Asus Xonar ones, and Creative Soundblasters, and both of them had pretty average reviews. |

I use an EMU 1616M PCIe but that's for pro-audio stuff...
WD's soundcard is the one I would use if I didn't need the pro-audio capability. |
