To be perfectly honest I did not care for 3D gaming until I saw your thread. The only reason why I opted for a non 120Hz monitor in the end was because I wanted 1440p. I will probably still pick up a 144Hz monitor in the future when I upgrade my gpu. |

AMD doesn't handle the 3d aspect, they pass that over to tridef. As such you have 2 drivers you have to worry about screwing up. In a lot of cases, you end up having to disable DX10/DX11 to make it work properly when titles first come out or turn shadows off entirely. To make it worse, in most cases CF doesn't work at all. NVidia's 3d vision isn't always perfect either, but support is much better, and you have the helix team usually fixing the issues on the side within a week or two of a title launch!
