Is this Phase unit worth buying?

Hello, I'm interested in Phase cooling my processor. I came across this unit at Frozencpu and am interested:

Can something like this unit cool a 4770k?

Yes,

That is a top quality unit, know many who have them and rmbc is a stand up guy

Mine works great on phase, however noise and power are an issue for 24/7 use

I just use mine for testing and benching every now and again when i can't afford LN2

Here is a pic of my 4770K on phase, mind you not a very good chip

Edit:

Stop, I read your post wrong,

Here is the guy you want to speak to at Under the Ice , not Frozen CPU ... there unit may not handle the load while custom can be designed to handle specific loads

I'd pick up a quality unit @ XS for half the price IMO, if you don't mind used.

Don't know urban, warranty is a bog deal with these types of units, especially shipping overseas

What is XS? I tried to google but didn't find a company for phase cooling.

So the unit I linked to may not be sufficient as you first thought?

Here is a link to the unit in Europe, it is a 240v version and carries a warranty here.

http://www.ldcooling.com/shop/ld-pc-...l-suction.html

It's a bit pricey though.

I'm checking out under-the-ice now and see what you mean by a cheaper unit I can possibly get.

yea,

if I were in the market for one I would have Ron build it

he is building one now for a teamate

the ones linked will work, however they may be mass produced and I really would not trust them, but that is just me. reguardless shipping out of the country is going to cost a fortune, if you can find a builder locally it will save you a ton
