Did you first save them as a HTML file?

If so, after FF is reinstalled... press "bookmarks", then press "show all bookmarks", then press "import and backup", then press "import bookmarks from HTML", then go to location where said HTML file, then left click on file, then press "open" and presto, bookmarks on FF are restored.
