Way to make ignored users more transparent?

I've been playing with the ignore list a little bit, but is there a way to just make them completely invisible?

Your making clutch sad.

It's not clutchypoo <3 the little guy who doesn't take **** from people on the internet.

Where you don't see their cut down post, and the only thing you'd see that they exist is another member quoting them.

I don't think that exists, but maybe Jason-san knows a way.

Is there any particular reason that you want to do this? I noticed that it is a somewhat decent feature to have on the very very rare occasion that anybody on my ignore list has anything worthwhile to say that I am able to see it. Sometimes this just helps to not relay the same information among other things.

This is probably a dumb question that I'm more than empowered enough to answer on my own, but since a thread came up, why not make use of it?

What happens if you have someone on your ignore list and they create a new thread? Do you see it?

Pardon the noobness, but I've never bothered to use the ignore feature, what is the internet without its vast array of opinionated idiots?

You see the thread as normal, but when you open it up the first post is not there.

I have never used the ignore list, ever.

But if I did, I still would prefer it to be something where their posts are invisible until you "reveal" them. There was something like that on another forum I was a member of.

I like that. I might be inclined to use the ignore feature if it worked that way.

Maybe.
