Ouch

Surely there must be a way? A complete night to bleed out the bubbles? No wai, when I settled up my (1st and only) loop, the bubbles were gone within 15 minutes...

At signature settings :

Very PRELIMINARY results.
Temps before in LinX : 76-76-72-72
Temps now : 72-72-70-70

I need to test a few stuff before making conclusion.

1.First mount
2.New AS5 (not cured)
3.Waterblock was bowed before, and now it is ''un-bowed''
I think that cores might not touch fully the WB in some place.

I will chek that stuff tomorrow and post back.

How tight can I go with waterblock screws I don't want to **** the cores lol ? (With the IHS on I was screwing them very tight)

Don't over-do it, you will crush and crack the cores.

I will chek if the waterblock is really flat tomorrow. Maybe it's still bowed a little. (Sanding time again...)

Bed time now.

No time to play with the waterblock today. Cores are not making perfect contact in the corners. Seems like the WB is still bowed a little. That would explain the little temps drop.

gtx blocks are made with a little bow to them it even states it in the instructions, the reason they bow them according to Swiftech is that when screwed onto the mobo they are supposed to flatten out but in your case you might want to lap it a little bit

Scratch looks pretty bad. Hope you don't find any trouble down the road. On a side note, awesome job on removing that. Radical move man.
