I need help on Noctua NH-D14 please!

I planned to buy D14 tomorrow

I also order extra 140mm fan too, that make triple fans setup = 120mm x1, 140mm x2

the question is

which fans setup I should use? please help me

<= wind direction [I hope you understand what I try to explains]

1. <=[CASE FAN, wind out] <=140mm 140mm 120mm [wind goes in, RAM] <=

2. <=[CASE FAN, wind out] <= 140mm 120mm 140mm [wind goes in, RAM] <=

3. <=[CASE FAN, wind out] <= 120mm 140mm 140mm [wind goes in, RAM] <=

or I should buy extra 120mm instead of 140mm? which should look like this

1. <=[CASE FAN, wind out] <= 120mm 140mm 120mm [wind goes in, RAM] <=

2. <=[CASE FAN, wind out] <= 140mm 120mm 120mm [wind goes in, RAM] <=

3. <=[CASE FAN, wind out] <= 120mm 120mm 140mm [wind goes in, RAM] <=

which one will result the best? help me please

my thought is 140mm 140mm 120mm setup

-regards

Look at the cooler first.

OP- the fans should be all the same size.
For your circumstance, bigger fans on push for best results usually. That would be the first #3 in your list.

Wasn't sure. First thing I'd do if I had one was go 3 fans.

The third fan would perhaps drop 1-2C at best. Not sure if it's worth the extra noise.

I doubt the third fan drops temperature at all. Also if you're going to direct it to the rear of the case I suggest you take off the rear case fan, helped me by 2 - 4 Celcius.

I don't think that a third fan on there will change anything, I have the NH-C14 in my other rig running with only 1 fan, the temps changed by .6 of a degree when I took off the second fan.

Depending what CPU your using and if you're overclocking you should already be overkill with 2 fans. The 3rd fan is just for show.
