System Crash unistalling AMD Catalyst Application Profiles

While I was updating my Hd Radeon 6870's drivers, I attempted to uninstall the old Catalyst Application Profiles (CAPS) I had installed to make way for the new version. There were 3 old versions of the CAPS installed. Whenever, I tried to installed the system would crash and reboot.

The CAP versions installed are:
2.0.4301.35982
2.0.4532.34673
new version: 2.0.4560.34681

Current Catalyst Control Center: 12.6 is installed

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine use to do the same thing when i uninstalled the CAPs with my 5870's. I would use driver cleaner in safe mode and then uninstall them.
