Gmail wont sync with droid x

It was working perfectly till a few days ago when i tried sending about twenty images in seperate emails, since then it has not been able to connect to gmail. Only the first few emails were sent to the account so I am not sure that I caused it. Any ideas on what to do.

When I had this problem on my phone, I disabled syncing (this is important so you don't get rid of all your data), then went into the Application Manager and deleted the data for Gmail and Contacts. Then, enable syncing again. After that my phone started syncing everything normally again.

Factory reset the phone might help. I know on my old G1 it was home and power. I have no idea what it is on the X. Or for that mater on my Nexus1 haha.
