New To Overclocking...

Hey all...

I just put together the below system and am learning about OC'ing. For the most part it seems pretty straight forward with this mobo as there is ROG Conect to do it on a laptop in real time as well as Level Up which allows me simply to OC my i7 from 2.8 to 3.2 while it does all the rest of the adjustments.

I would like to push it higher though and am wondering if anyone could suggest anything in the 4 area... I have tried stepping it up to 4.2 (192/1.3) but no luck as I have had 2 BSOD's. Can someone suggest a good scheme that might give me some success?

Also initial Vantage score below...is this decent?

Tx ahead...just trying to soak in the whole OC thing but gotta say that JC 2 is an amazing game!

The easiest thing to do is search for your motherboard model or similar and see what others are using. That should get you in the neighborhood.

Im pretty new as well, my challenge seems to be in the memory and finding right frequencies and voltage, there are some good threads/guides on this site that will shed some light.
