How about a few pictures?

Yes next time another video.

Looks as if a couple of pictures will need to be resized.

Any time. I'm trying to see if I can get my brother to let me have the 960T back and de-lid that and let him use the 4300 for a while in his wifes rig. This all depends on how he feels about taking her rig apart.

It's such a quick simple process, we'd be drinking a beer in no time.

This Cat I know is sending me a 6000+ (AM2). If memory recalls, that is a soldered IHS plate. Perhaps I can re-try the video with a better camera.

I'm asking for grind cpu die after delidded operation of soldered IHS.

I used 3000grade Wet sanding paper, and I removed all of solder, than proccessor die shine like a mirror. May be I grind slicon die. May be I did mistake, I don't know.

Than I see long line on the die (I attached photo). Did I destroy the cpu? (I have no chance try cpu on my mainboard few days)

How much should I grind? How sensitive is the die to grinding?

It looks good.

You only need to sand until the solder is gone, but you can take extra off the silicon. It wont hurt anything.

The actual "cores" lay within the PCB, so you'll never sand that far down.

Looking forward to seeing your results, please share.
