Your score is about 1,000 points lower than a rig with a fully utilized 470.
There are a few chips at 2.6Ghz that will fully utilize a GTX470 but a Thuban isn't one of them. |

I shorted out the usb controller on my asus m4n98td evo
![]() so I bought an asrock 970 extreme4 and haven't been able to get it to be stable with any overclock as of yet ![]() any way to boost the score cheaply and effectively?? |

If you still have the evo just buy a PCI USB adapter.

No reason you cant overclock the asrock though. id shoot for at least 3.6ghz
