Can not find any benchmarks on this card - Need performance comparisiona

ZOTAC ZT-50608-10L

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...20ZT-50608-10L
(linked from newegg.ca due to person living in canada.

I'm trying to find this person a video card that'll be better than his current integrated one. He doesn't need all of the bells and whistles, just something other than extreme low with 800x600 resolution. Before i make a final "this will be better," i want to compare this card to others. So far all i can find are reviews on this thing, not exactly what i need.

EDIt: Already searched this forum. I thought i found some threads but nothing on this particular card. Looked in some other threads on this forum as well, nothing..

Just give him a 5450 and call it a day. They're cheap enough as it is.

That's not the best way to go about this on future buys though in my opinion. If i come across another card and want to see roughly how it compares i want to look at benchmarks. If i'm seeing it get 2fps in all games it's played on then chances are it's not that good of a card.

I also want to see for myself how the benchmarks are so i can get a rough idea on performance around cards of this range so i have a better idea what to recommend in the future. I just don't like going into something half-blind.

But if there's no benchmarks that's different, however on a card like this i'm sure there's got to be at least some kind of a benchmark, right? There's a benchmark for pretty much anything you google now a days whenever i need to find comparisions on a cpu or memory.

Son, what do you need benchmarks for? By your own account, only thing he needs are:

That implies no gaming, which automatically excludes about 95% of the graphic cards on the market.

So... 5450.

Well, that card just came on the market about a week ago -- so will be very hard to find any benchmarks. And most benchmarking sites will probably ignore it, but I did find one bench -- it didn't do very well: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gp...GeForce+GT+520
Also, we need some idea of how the card will be used.

Oh, didn't even know it's THAT new... I don't follow that pci-1x market at all.

So i can have at least some rough idea if it'll even be worth an upgrade over what he has. If he spends $70 and gets 1fps more on a flash game then it's not worth it. But if he gets 30fps more on a game he normally gets 25 in, then it's worth it. Benchmarks give you a rough idea with how an item will compare and what fps you can guess you'll be getting in games.

If it helps, I recently purchased an nvidia GT430 for my HTPC that also has an i5-2500k and 8 gigs of ram. It plays Diablo 3 fairly well on medium-high settings.
