The 285s win out in the only game it makes a difference, but it's still a virtual tie @ 1920x1200. The 4890s offer much better value.

Good find AT, guess we'll be seeing more of you over in the X3 thread if you decide to go with the 4890 Crossfire I'm still debating whether or not to upgrade my 4870 Crossfire, may just wait until year end when the DX11 cards come out.

Its a bit slower, but signficantly cheaper... Here is part of the conclusion:

I'm afraid that without the assistance of watercooling the X2 won't clock as high as the single 4890 due to heat.....
