In the mornings and evenings:

5C idle, 30C load
3.2E @ 3.7, 265 FSB, ~1.45 vcore
WC setup in sig, with the addition of a 80mm rad, everything inline

During the day (it's getting ~90-100F in Poway these days )
15C idle, 45C load

Yeah that 45C needs some attention...i have a feeling the pelt is underrated for your cpu. The cpu is putting out too much wattage and makes the pelt unable to handle the heat load. I just got a 226 watt pelt so i hope that can handle my amd

DD maze 4-1, mag3, JR-120 radiator.

NoAffinity's temps look ok. it cant be because his tec is underrated because 226 watts is fine for any cpu. adding another heatercore would probably help a lot

I can't argue that the 226w's are underrated for the Prescotts, and I've stated it before. I've tried a couple different routing setups, and even got some thicker tubing, cuz I was getting kinks in a couple spots. Temps came down a couple degrees, but not substantially. So, with several routings, and troubleshooting bottlenecks in flow, the system itself is incapable of lowering temps. Yes, a heater core would probably help, but I'm planning on doing phase change as my next major step, so the rads will be eliminated altogether sooner or later. I wouldn't mind getting my mitts on one of those 274w TEC's that are floating around in the UK, but unfortunately none are to be found in the states.

Gees I was thinking to get WC with peltier for my Precout. 45C under load is good for Precouts, heh with air-cooling at stock speed it gets up to 64C
But AC cools down my sys to same 45C under load. The only issue that I have is its to frkn loud cause I have to sit almost in front of it. NoAffinity what temps were you getting with reg WC at say 23C room temp, hehe 100F is kind of hot

Just thought that i would share my temps.

with my 2.8E in here and running at 3.85 gigs, and 1.6 vcore,i get a idle of about 9C and about 32C load. This is with room temp being about 80F i think i need to reapply the AS i dont think i did that good of a job last time.

Because in my rig,i have it as idle-3C and load of like 23C @ 1.55vcore.

dont know, with these kind of temps in el cajon,i may through my 2.8 m0 back in there.

LOL ^ yeah, Poway's about the same. I've been thinking about throwing my 2.8C back in, too...just to see what it can do...but then again I don't really want to get it all dielectic'ed up. Anybody know a good spray cleaner or such that will clean off dielectic grease without leaving residue.

^^I think it was upper 40's to lower 50's. Maybe I just need to get a heater core...throwing the extra 80 mm rad in the system didn't seem to do any good. I have everythign inline, tho, so I might try running GPU and CPU paralle, see if that makes any difference.

you could instead of cleaning the socket out, just clean the cpu by blowing it with canned air

you'd probably get much better results with 1/2 barbs on the maze4. whats the load temps? vcore? clock speed?
