This a good switch?

I'm looking to get a switch to have around when I have LANs... you guys know anything about the quality of the switch or whether I should get something different?

Gd switch...16 ports nice! Just don't get a hub, switches are alot better for LANs! In my own experience anyway!

Pretty much all unmanaged 10/100 switches are going to perform identical. Any big-name should be a safe buy. I would personally try to find one without a fan, since the small fans tend to make noise and wear out kinda quickly...

ok, thanks a lot, I know not to get a hub btw, I'll try and find one without a fan, I just figured that they wouldn't have put it on unless it was necessary for the hardware in general

also, any idea why it doesn't say what switching method is used? I doubt it'll matter with just using it in a LAN environment, but why wouldn't they say what it is...
