how to make msn explorer default browser?

the title says it all...i just can't find it in the settings...

its for a friend, he doesnt like mozilla cuz its not "microsoftish" enough, weird huh? i wanna fix this cuz i made him use firefox but now he wants msn back and i cant find how to change it

first slap your friend for being stupid, then open up ie and click tools -> internet options -> click the programs tab and at the bottom is a little chech box that says "IE should check to see whether it is the default brower". Click that and restart IE

Don't ask why unless you want to join them.
Go to the microsoft website and find the post that says "Reinstall Internet Explorer." Follow the instructions with the removal part but stop there. Don't reinstall. Go to mozilla.com Download firefox. Set as default browser. And forget your past mistake

I agree, firefox is better, but keep IE for windowsupdates.com

Anyway, you really should read the thread, he said its for his friend who tried firefox and now wants IE back
