It's more about 12v amps than wattage. Just guessing by the amps you provided on the rails, I'd say you had 25-29 amps available. If you're running a high end vid card and a lot of peripherals, and intend to OC, you need a little more PSU.

I use the Extreme Outer Vision Pro and the result was: 638W
+3,3V 11,3A _ +5,0V 14,5V _ +12V 44,0A

My nexus just went small with +12 rails. I need to buy better PSU..

Cpu: Intel Q9550 2,83GHz (stock) Cooler: Zalman VF 2000 led
M.board: ASUS P5Q-Pro
Memory: 2x2Gt ddr2 Corsair Dominator 1066MHz (stock) Cooler: CMXAF1
Graphic card: Sapphire HD4850x2 gddr3 2Gt (stock 625/993) (o.c. 690/1020)
Hard drives: 2x Samsung 750Gt SATAII
Psu: Nexus RX-8500 (850w)
Case: Zalman GS1000 with 5pc 120mm zalman with switch: low/high = silent/loud.

noob question

excuse me....due to 1st page link, have to pay for use the software....(didn't got paypal yet)

i'm really new on pc hardware, 5 years using pc, just now i care about what my pc need...

my rig :
motherboard : asus rampage extreme (default north bridge with optional fan)
processor : core 2 quad q9550
memory : kingston pc3 10700 is it 1333mhz ? @2x2gb
vga : winfast gtx 275
sc : onboard x-fi(motherboard oem)
hdd : sata2 500gb, sata1 250gb, 1 eksternal hdd with eksternal power adapter trough esata
case : cm scout storm (w/o side panel fan)
cpu hsf : zerotherm core92
usb : mouse , keyboard, pnp 2,5" ekst hdd

currently using corsair 620hx and semi auto oc my proc to 3,4ghz, with 400fsb...(proc is EO stepping)

is my power supply got enough power ?
(currently just tested for 24X2 with oc-ed procie.....
