HOT HOT HOT! WD 74gb SATA Raptor $154.49 shipped after rebate!

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...144-160&DEPA=0

$150 for a 74gb WD Raptor after $25 MIR. Awesome deal right here. The rebate is good for up to 2 hard drives, and is good until 9/30.

I think they had that before... it's a pretty nice deal, though I'm content with my current raptors

It's actually a $5 larger rebate. WD must not have sold enough to raise capital for whatever it's doing.

Good deal, but this isn't going to make selling my Raptor any easier...

yeah wicked... don't you hate sales when you want to sell something? I was going to sell my z-680s and get the klipsch... gonna sell 'em for maybe around $250 (got them for $285)... DROPS TO $225 NEW! I wouldn't have minded making up for like $100... but not like $150

I wouldn't mind the 36gb Raptors going down in price. I'd love to do a raid0 on two of them. Two 74mb drives would just be too much space for my OS drive(s).

True, but my current backup drive is a 120, and the Maxline 250gb drives are looking mighty sexy right now. I could pick one up for around the same price as this Raptor. I don't care too much about performance when it concerns my backup drive, I need the space!
