OC on my 2400-m not stable anymore

Ok, right now I'm not able to get my mobile CPU to overclock as far as it was before. I'm sitting at 2.3GHz stable, but before i was getting up to 2.5GHz stable and ran fine. just did a fresh install of XP, new BIOS, everything updated. It runs for a while if I up the vcore to 1.775, but i try to run sandra and it poops itself. it's running strong now @ 43*C which is pretty dam low. the heatsink feels as cool as the outside of my case (room temp). any help?

BTW full details - Mobile Athlon XP2400 35W, 1 gig Mushkin level one @ 2-3-2-6 (2.7v), A7N8X Deluxe v2.

Are all of the voltages the same? I remember that with my 35 watt 2400, switching to a Tornado on my SP-97 resulted in a higher overclock, even though with a much weaker fan I was at 43c. Did your temperatures rise at all?

no rise in temperature and it was the BIOS. bad news is my PSU pooped itself again. >_< I think it was my fault though. everything was working fine until i tried to start zip tying all the loose cables up. think i may have pulled or crimped a wire and now it won't boot. the system turns on but won't boot, even reset the jumpers. now i got to wait for ANOTHER RMA
