Angry number of XP installations?

I know this will sound like a big noobie question (*sigh* not another one of those annoying noobs), but I have installed XP home on my computer 4 times, which required 4 activations obviously. But on the fourth one it wouldnt let me activate it, so I called in to the ever so helpful microsoft helpline and they let me activate it a 4th time because I told them that I had to reinstall multiple times because of virus issue(of course thats the real reason, u think I would lie to the all powerful god that is Microsoft?).
Neway I have come to the point where I need to reinstall XP yet again and its not letting me activate XP. I think I have used up all my activations. What am I going to do? I bought XP home legally and now its pointless. Do I really have to buy a whole new copy of XP home to get it to work?

P.S. Is it true that XP Pro is allowed multiple installs on the same machine without limitation?

just keep telling microslop you have a serious virus issue, or tell them your hard drives' SMART failed causing you to re-install on a new hard drive. I think as long as you give them the number of times you did it, you should be ok

You just gotta keep calling them and telling them what is up. They can't tell you that you can't use your version of XP anymore, they will get you activated.
