Firefox critical update patch released!!

another critical flaw has been discovered in the latest version of Firefox (version 0.10-Preview Release 1) prompting Mozilla to release another patch to address this vulnerablity...the new patch brings this version of Firefox up to version 0.10.1....Mozilla is urging all users of 0.10 to update their systems as soon as possible.

yeah! One minuet before reading this thread, I just noticed a small red sign at the top right corner of my browser and wondered what it was for a sec. Once I clicked on it, I got me to update the browser.
Never realized I could update firefox this way until just now. I used to just download and install a newer version.

I just had that aswell. i think its only in v 1.0 PR but I could be wrong.

one big thing about firefox that sucks is the installation; you have to uninstall the previous version, then intsall new one. I didn't do it at first cuz i thought it would update the previous one and so now I have 3 firefox entries in the addremove 0.7 0.8 and 1.0

Thanks for the notice. I wish they would put patch info on the Firefox start page. I never know if theres a new version out, either. That annoys me.
