XP 90 in an Abit IC7-MAX3
Quick question, im sure this has been asked 293985848388586845 times already but i cant quite find my answer. Basically my question is will a Thermalright XP90 fit onto an IC7-MAX3 without problems, or do i need to remove the OTES and bend capacitors (which i woudl prefer not to do tbh). I was thinking XP90 and a Vantec tornado 92mm fan on top, any thoughts or problems that could arise? Also ive read that the XP90 is the best P4 cooler atm, will it reduce temps dramatically enough, i am looking to overclock but my Aero4 doesnt seem to be too effective atm with my load temp of 68-70deg and idle of 48. This is full speed on the fan on the aero4. Sorry for the question i know its been asked loads of times in different ways. |

I was wondering the same thing myself, thanks for the answer guys... but I also have another question.
I want to go with the XP-90 and the NB-1C. So, my question is... will they work together? Will the XP-90 hang over the north bridge at all? Or would I have to find something smaller? |
