What AGP voltage should a 9800XT use?

Hey, I have a 9800XT. Now, I've found that my particular card has been horrible for overclocking, even with a arctic Silencer installed. I'm thinking maybe the AGP voltage is set too low (the motherboard default is 1.5v, and it allows up to 1.9v). I've set it to 1.6, but haven't noticed any real difference. Anyone know what the voltage for a 9800XT should be? Thanks.

1.5v should be fine, and it should overclock (to a certain point maybe) with that voltage. more voltage can hurt ur card, but 1.5v should work just fine.

Don't ask why unless you want to join them.
Leave it at 1.5, even if you do raise it, it will not help it overclock more. It will just damage the card...

I doubt that raising AGP voltage helps any - as mentioned it may damage your card. Best focusing on cooling for a successful Video Card overclock.

I was asking since I know someone who managed to OC their card much more after raising AGP voltage.

My card has an Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer which I put on it with some AS5, but that's helped little in lowering its temp and improving the overclockability of the card at all. I guess I just didn't get dealt a good slice of silicon then.

Every card overclocks differently. Increasing the AGP voltage just increases the voltage to everything on the card, not just the GPU or the memory. It will actually cause instability and may even cause permanent damage to it.

BTW, what is your specs for overclocking, like how much for GPU and Memory?
