the Sparkle, I have listed for about $25 should be more than enough for your pump(s). ![]() EDIT: Depends on the total current draw. I would go ahead & try it, it shouldn't hurt anything, so give it a try.

Pumps use the 12V rail, and it would probably do it but since you only have 18A to play with it would hinder OCing I think. It will hinder OCing if you get too powerfull pumps for sure

fyi: the 470W version has the same rating on the 12V & 3.3V rails...
The only difference is 34A vs. 40A on the 5V rail... and the maximum output of course. |

interesting, will OCZ 520W be enough for the future SLI setup with 2 6800Ultas or GTs and oced A64? Or maybe upcoming OCZ 600W?

All the "high end" guys seem to be building for 33A to 38A on the +12V rail(s), so I think that is what we will be needing in a year or two, with the new dual core CPU's from Intel & AMD.

I vote for sticky too!
Also, how those 2 rails work? Should I put my pump and fans and lights on 18A and the rest on 20A? Something like that? |

It may be for A64's, but it still belongs in the Power Supplies section, which any A64 owner can visit for advice on what PSU to get for their A64. That's what the different sections are there for. Use them. Cheers.

thanks davidEdit: well it won't fit. it is 2.5 centimeters too long, it will hit my blow hole fan. anyone got any ideas on how to mod my case to make it fit. it would like way to stupid if i just removed the fan and the hole was still there. Edit#2: problem solved. posted about it in the mod section and someone helped me out. Last edited by downsideup16 : 10-30-2004 at 01:02 PM. |
