About the dual rails..
Its about 18Amps a rail.. if im only using a monorail mobo does it only get 18Amps? I wanted to buy a PSU from my current computer and for my future computer (Athlon).. It will be outside the case airloop, and needs to be modular. |

edit: so the dual rail amperage adds? Would it matter if much more amperage were on 1 rail than the other? |

i am no power supply expert but .. i got myself the rosewill 550W couldn't resist the price with the 35A@12V ... 55$, got it and was praying that everything would be ok, and everything turned to be more than ok actually, 12V line reads 12.15idle 12.14 load "using mulimeter of course" 5V line reads 5.15 idle 5.14 load"
overclocked to what is written in my specs without any single issue .. prime stable 9 hours without a sweat, then i stopped prime, no need for more for me highly recommended in the BEST for the BUCK EDITED: forgot to mention ... http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...182-010&depa=0 another thing .. controlable fan ... low, auto, high .. 120mm .. the processors stock fan is the only thing i hear now. |

It's the one I have, just wondered if it was getting a bit long in the tooth or not. What about the rest of the rails?

Test on any connector, just watch the colors.

Measure the volts from the ATX connector as it's plugged in. Orange = 3.3v.
