Hey yo David Hammock, Fatfreepork told me to post here and ask you what you think about these two psu's... I really wanna get them, because they have high wattage and high *** Vrails...

Halomasta's suggestion
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...163-018&depa=0

and

This rosewill 550w psu, i'm planning on this one because it has way higher vrails than the powmax..

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...182-010&depa=0

but looks like it only puts out a max of 523w Confused

Pick a proven winner from the guide.

About the dual rails..

Its about 18Amps a rail.. if im only using a monorail mobo does it only get 18Amps? I wanted to buy a PSU from my current computer and for my future computer (Athlon)..

It will be outside the case airloop, and needs to be modular.

The dual rails are idoit proof & invisable to the user & work on all mobos.

Ohh, ya had me thinking 2 cords or a different single cord :O

edit: so the dual rail amperage adds? Would it matter if much more amperage were on 1 rail than the other?

I'll rephrase, the dual +12V will be invisable to you & it is idot proof as long as you plug it in according to the directions.

i am no power supply expert but .. i got myself the rosewill 550W couldn't resist the price with the 35A@12V ... 55$, got it and was praying that everything would be ok, and everything turned to be more than ok actually, 12V line reads 12.15idle 12.14 load "using mulimeter of course" 5V line reads 5.15 idle 5.14 load"
overclocked to what is written in my specs without any single issue .. prime stable 9 hours without a sweat, then i stopped prime, no need for more for me
highly recommended in the BEST for the BUCK

EDITED:
forgot to mention ... http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...182-010&depa=0
another thing .. controlable fan ... low, auto, high .. 120mm .. the processors stock fan is the only thing i hear now.

It's the one I have, just wondered if it was getting a bit long in the tooth or not. What about the rest of the rails?

Measure the volts from the ATX connector as it's plugged in. Orange = 3.3v.
