Bad Radeon 9800P?

Hi, i just got a Sapphire 9800 pro (256 bit)

Was running 3dmark01, performance wasnt the best....Then it rebooted before it could enter nature, so i run nature test alone, and the card gets some nasty performance, like 30fps...Is this card bad or am i just using a odd driver?

Im using the LATEST catalyst drivers...On an Amd Athlon 64 @ 2.5ghz, with windows xp 64....

*edit* installed full catalyst drivers and got this *look at attached image* also need for speed underground flickers when i open it, and yes i got my refresh rate LOCKED...wtf

Don't ask why unless you want to join them.
Maybe Windows XP 64-Bit?

Do a fresh install of regular 32-Bit and i bet you it will clear it up.

How long have you been using 64Bit version?

Edit:

Thought just came to me, im guessing youve recently installed 64Bit windows?
Maybe the ATI drivers arent supported? seeing as the CLI.exe is to do with the drivers, im just thinking that they might not be supported...

Did you clean your old video card drivers out first? Sometimes that can give problems.

The Omega drivers are decent. The newest Beta ATi's are pretty nice (at least for me)
