task manager messed up

http://www.zippyimages.com/13275.html
i dont have tabs on it anymore. I came back from a long weekend, the family had used the computer. I found 9 viri and countless spyware, i have cleaned with adaware, spybot, and hijack this but my task manager is still fuxored.

Also, since all this happened, i cant open hl2, cs:s or deathmatch, it acts like its going to load them, but never does. Farcry and halo still work, just my steam games aree messed up

Click (double?) on the blue bar at the top of task manager & the tabs should come back. I don't know about your games though, might still have some crap on there. Don't let the family use your comp! lol

i know how much ppl hate to do it but i would say when i get several viruses i just backup. Then I scan the backup for viruses using linux(like knoppix live cd). Then I reinstall windows and load the backup files back on and reinstall my programs.

The only reason I had that visual aid was because I answered the exact same question the other day:
