folding@home?

I'm very new to this folding@home program and I am just wondering what it does and what it affects on the computer. Thanks

It puts a lot of high temps and load on your cpu.

thats not all it does it simulates protein functions which cause disease and sends the information to universities.. therefore.. its like cpu burn-in with a really good cause

I would rate it higher then prime, or just as close as in temp wise.

It is easy to start folding and is a lot of fun.....Give it a try
