11.88 is fine! It is closer to 12.00 than 12.24 is! It is not the absolute voltage, but its stability, you do not want it to change much under load.

Good Luck
The one at microcenter has the same number as the one you linked, so im guessing it has 36amps on 12v rail. How long with it last me??? Should it perform better than the phantom, becasue it has more 12v amp?

If you're using the onboard voltage sensor to get that 11.88v, don't trust it. Use a multimeter. Motherboards are notoriously inaccurate at measuring voltage and temps.

They both have 3yr warranties.

The Phantom is NOT for OC'ing, it is for very high efficency, super quiet operation!

true, youd rather want stable 11.88 than 12.05 going down to 11.70V to 12.20V to 11.30V (my last PSU did that and boy was my PC freezing)

Just got my 550 true control, i got the one with 30amps on 12v, and i get my booster screen, and voltage is still at 11.84 . But it only goes to 11.83!, BTW people thats at 4ghz 1.58vcore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . The Neo power would do 11.90-11.78. I guess i have better luck with the 550watt. Also i have come to the conclusion Antec lowers their voltages to stablize em totaly.

My True480W sits at 12.05v on the 12v rail at idle, and drops to 12.04 under load.

The battery is used only when measuring resistance & to power the display.

u know if u want just use the true control panel and maybe up 12v to 12.05 so it would hover around 12.05 and 12.00 that would really kick azz

Well i decided to give the neopower one last try, and i got new readings of 11.96, so im guesssing the old one was defective. Im very happy with it, i can even make my own connectors!

11.84 even at max, i had the 550 true, not true control. This neopower does like 1.96 with no load, 11.93-11.92 at stock with load

EXCELLENT!

Please post them on the last page of the PS Guide, I will link them to the guide its self.

That way they don't get locked or deleted & you can update them as you desire.

Thanks,
Dave
