soundblaster probs
according to sources, the card is the root of the problems I am having... the problems I have is that the game I play freezes within a minute or two of playing and the solution was told to me to disable the sound and see if it works(it did work) and to move the sound card to the first of second slot of the PCI slots(i did that and it still doesnt work). So when I try to use teh sound it freezes my game with an annoying skippign of the sound very fast. It is said that this is a problem with soundblaster cards and what not.... Should I just get a Chaintech sound card and scrap this soundblaster???? Will gettins a Chaintech sound card fix the prob with the freezing and sound skipping problems I have when I play games??? |

What game ya runnin? What soundBlaster card ya got ? What drivers ya usin ?
I'm runnin a SB Audigy2 with the newest drivers from creative and it plays BF 1942 and all its mods just fine. |

it happens when i play any game....half life 2, counter strike, star wars republic commando......
I got the newest drivers I could for the card I got....its a Soundblaster Live! card i got from an old Dell computer I had |

ahh you might want to update that thing I had problems with the Live cards. With the laggy play and random crashing.
Audigy2ZS is a good card i hear for sound blaster. |
