Breaking 10,000 in 3DMark...

Omg, allright, you can see my system specs below, but for some reason, i just cant break 10,000! I always get like 9600...9700...but never 10,000+...thats all im shooting for, then ill be happy lol. What kinda tweaks can I perform to make this **** thing break that 10,000 mark?

This is mainly cause my stupid friend, because he thinks his visiontek is sooo much better than my verto...said he got 14,000 with his ****ing 1.33ghz athlon...which i know is total bull...im sorry...but it is. But he keeps on insisting that he got it...but hes a liar, and im going to proove to him that hes wrong. So what can i do? Vid tweaks, save overclocking options for my Video Card (I dont wanna break my geforce4, because ill never afford a new one). Anyone with a verto got any ideas...anything people...anything lol...

vertos are really not for oc ing but I have and it didn't make a big difference. some one else asked this and every one gave him a bunch of stuff to do, you might wanna look for it. you can lower your desk top resolution, tweak the virtual memory, hike your agp aperture in bios, disable V-sync, turn off anti-aliasing, lower your color depth, you can tweak you G card with a progam called powerstrip, make your computer a server. all this **** will pump up you computer

P.S. your friend is full of ****... 14000 my ***

UPDATE YOUR 4-IN-1's!!

http://www.viahardware.com/download/index.shtm

Easiest way to add points. Got me past 10,000

Also, try lowering your RAM latency, making sure your AGP is set at 4x, system settings at TURBO, and turn everything in the background off.

Hope this helps!

The 4-in-1 drivers are specific to motherboards with VIA chipsets. It consists of the AGP driver, IDE Filter Driver, INF File update, and IRQ Routing driver.

It's basically a patch for the VIA chipset to fix bugs that should've never made into production
