dude. do you know comcast charges you a rental fee each month just to use their crappy modem???? I barely found that out last month and ended up buying a motorola SURFboard cable modem and returning the rental modem to my local comcast billing center. It's pretty easy to do, just e-mail comcast about doing it. In the end, it saves to change your billing plan from a leased modem rate to a purchased modem rate. (you gotto buy a good cable modem though)

Our internet goes down so often because of the way they wired our home for tv/broadband they wave the rental fee for the crappy little modem.

if something happens to the modem you buy you have to buy another if sumthin happens to the one you rent free repair and replacement

so to some (like my mom) its worth it

It's the fabric my cover is stuffed fill of. My dog jumps on my bed and claws at it until he's comfortable, kind of like a cat. The white blur is from the camera.
